Clemmons Motorcycles may be the newest shop
around but we are not new(we are old!). Here's
a little of our history.
OWNER: 3 weeks into Kenny Gilley's life he realized his stroller wasn't fast enough or
cool enough so he took two wheels off and put an 8 over front end on. His future was
set.
After a stint assembling bikes for his Grandpa's Honda shop, Kenny began working at
United Motorcycles in Clemmons, NC. In 1979 UMC became H&H Cycles and Kenny
stayed on board, rebuilding shovelheads at age 15.
Kenny began drag racing in 1984 in the HDRA series with one of the fastest 80 cu. in.
Harleys in the nation, showing domination in the E class. His first custom was featured
in 83' followed by numerous features in magazines such as Iron Works, Easyriders,
American Iron and VQ. " My biggest thing is to ride motorcycles and to get other
people to ride" After 15 yrs. at Young Harley Davidson Kenny left to do his own thing.

TECH: Even though Jamie Beasley didn't get his first
motorcyle until he was 12 years old, He received his
first toolbox at age 10. " I had to work on my friend's
bikes for a couple of years first." After fixing everything
in his neighborhood Jamie worked at car dealerships
for about 5 years before landing a job as a mechanic
at Harley Davidson of Greensboro.
He has been a married man for 11 years with a 4 year old and a new baby
boy(Jesse). His time at the Harley shop helped him become the experienced
performance mechaniac that he is today. With his brother Jay Beasley (rider)
and help by Chris Scizm, Jamie has formed a
competitive racing team in the S&S 124
Challenge class in the AHDRA.( In 2006
they finished 6th in the final points with
Scizm on board.)"We will run 4 events
in 2007 with Jay on the bike to get some
seat time. Then we'll hit the full schedule
in 2008." See ya at the track!
